1. Acceptance of terms

Welcome to SEVWAS. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you (either an individual or a business entity, "You") and Salon Services Private Limited ("SEVWAS", "we", "us", or "our"), governing your access to and use of the SEVWAS website at sevwas.com, the web application at salonhub-pwa.vercel.app, and all related services (collectively, the "Service").

By creating an account, browsing, booking, subscribing, or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy and Refund & Cancellation Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Definitions

  • "Customer" — an end user who uses SEVWAS to discover and book salon services.
  • "Salon" — a business entity that subscribes to SEVWAS to list services and manage bookings.
  • "CRM" — the salon management dashboard portion of the Service.
  • "Subscription" — a recurring paid plan (Starter, Growth, or Elite) granting a Salon access to the Service.
  • "Razorpay" — our third-party payment service provider for subscription billing.

3. Accounts & eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts to use the Service. If you register on behalf of a Salon, you represent that you are authorised to do so, and the Salon agrees to these Terms.

  • Customers log in via phone OTP (through Firebase). You agree to provide accurate phone number and name details.
  • Salons register with a valid email and password and must complete KYC verification (see section 6) before going publicly live.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

4. Subscriptions & billing

Salon access to the Service requires an active paid Subscription. Full pricing, billing cycles, and refund terms are set out on our Pricing page and in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

  • All prices are in INR and inclusive of 18% GST.
  • Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. You may cancel anytime from the CRM.
  • Payments are processed securely by Razorpay. SEVWAS does not store your full card or banking credentials.
  • We may change our pricing with at least 30 days' notice via email or in-app notification. Changes take effect from the next renewal after notice.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose, or in violation of any applicable Indian law.
  • Submit false, misleading, or inaccurate information (about yourself, your salon, your services, or your bookings).
  • Attempt to access, tamper with, or disrupt the Service, its servers, or the accounts of other users.
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or misuse the platform, data, or content.
  • Use the WhatsApp notification feature to send spam or unsolicited commercial messages.
  • Impersonate another person or business, or misrepresent your affiliation.

Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account under section 11.

6. KYC & salon verification

To protect customers and the integrity of the marketplace, every Salon must complete KYC verification — including submission of valid business/identity and address documents — before being publicly listed. SEVWAS reserves the right to approve, reject, or request additional documentation at its discretion. A Salon cannot activate or appear in public listings without kyc_status = approved.

7. Bookings between customers & salons

SEVWAS is a platform that facilitates discovery and booking inquiries. Important:

  • A booking submitted on SEVWAS is an inquiry. The appointment is confirmed only when the Salon accepts it via the CRM.
  • Payment for salon services (haircuts, facials, etc.) is settled directly between the Customer and the Salon, at the salon's own counter. SEVWAS does not collect or process payments for individual salon services.
  • SEVWAS's own charges are limited to the Salon's Subscription, billed via Razorpay.
  • SEVWAS is not a party to the service contract between a Customer and a Salon and bears no liability for the quality, timeliness, pricing, or outcome of salon services.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, its design, branding, software, and original content are the intellectual property of SEVWAS and its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission. Salon names, logos, and images uploaded by Salons remain the property of those Salons, who grant SEVWAS a licence to display them for the purpose of operating the Service.

9. Disclaimer & warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SEVWAS disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any booking will be honoured by a Salon.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, in no event shall SEVWAS be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or business, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the total amount you paid to SEVWAS in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

11. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms, fail to pay subscription fees, or engage in conduct we determine harmful to the Service, other users, or third parties. You may stop using the Service and cancel your Subscription at any time. Upon termination, all of your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. The courts at Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service. We will first attempt to resolve disputes informally — please contact us before initiating legal action.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify material changes via email or a prominent notice on the Service at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
